About the Role
We are seeking an Ecommerce Operations Lead to own the day-to-day management, maintenance, and merchandising of Organika.com. This role is responsible for ensuring our Shopify storefront is accurate, high-performing, and positioned to support product launches, promotional campaigns, and long-term growth.
The Ecommerce Operations Lead serves as the primary owner of the Shopify platform, managing product setup, PDP creation, collection management, site merchandising, promotional execution, content updates, and website maintenance. They will work closely with the Senior Digital Commerce Manager to implement website enhancements, support conversion optimization initiatives, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
In addition to website execution, this role will support operational excellence through Asana workflow management, project coordination, reporting, and process improvements that help ensure ecommerce initiatives are delivered efficiently and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ecommerce Store Management & Merchandising
- Own the day-to-day management of Organika's Shopify storefront, including product, collection, landing, and content pages.
- Launch and maintain products, bundles, subscriptions, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
- Optimize site navigation, search, merchandising, and product discoverability to enhance the customer experience.
- Ensure product information, pricing, imagery, reviews, and content remain accurate and up to date.
- Manage product lifecycle activities, including product retirements, redirects, site cleanup, and QA testing for website updates and launches.
- Website Operations & Optimization
- Monitor site performance and proactively identify opportunities to improve customer experience, conversion, and site health.
- Troubleshoot website issues, content errors, broken links, and merchandising gaps in collaboration with internal teams, agencies, and developers.
- Conduct regular site audits and support testing and conversion rate optimization initiatives.
- Product Launch & Digital Execution
- Lead website execution for product launches, promotions, and marketing campaigns.
- Ensure launch readiness across PDPs, collections, navigation, bundles, landing pages, and promotional placements.
- Partner with Category, Marketing, Creative, and Customer Experience teams to deliver seamless digital experiences.
- Ecommerce Operations & Project Management
- Manage ecommerce projects, requests, and workflows through Asana to ensure timely execution.
- Maintain project documentation, templates, processes, and SOPs.
- Identify and implement workflow improvements to increase operational efficiency and scalability.
- Reporting & Analytics
- Monitor and report on key ecommerce performance metrics.
- Analyze website performance, merchandising effectiveness, customer engagement, and user experience trends.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve site performance, product discoverability, and customer experience.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of ecommerce, digital merchandising, or website management experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Shopify and ecommerce merchandising best practices.
- Experience managing website content, product launches, promotions, and onsite merchandising.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using ecommerce reporting and web analytics tools.
- Demonstrated success managing projects and coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Asana or similar project management software.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in CPG, health & wellness, or direct-to-consumer brands is considered an asset.
