Alberta Health Services is looking for an East Edmonton Urgent Care Physician on a locum basis. Gaining experience in urgent or emergency care is essential for our growing clinic. We invite applications from qualified physicians to join our East Edmonton Urgent Care Centre as locums.

This role involves working predominantly overnight and weekend shifts in a fully-equipped, computerized environment. The position offers a pathway to a Clinical Academic appointment linked to the University of Alberta, enhancing both practice and education. Key Responsibilities:

- Respond to urgent care cases during assigned shifts
- Execute patient management using Connect Care EMR
- Collaborate with students and residents in a teaching environment
- Maintain current licensure with the CPSA
- Execute patient care with efficiency and accuracy

Requirements:

- Certified in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
- Active licensure with the CPSA is mandatory
- Preferred 1+ years emergency room experience
- Flexibility for locum shifts in a agile setting
- Interest in academic partnership with the University of Alberta
