Become the Economic Development Advisor for the Eeyou Istchee territory while based in Mistissini. Engage communities, develop projects, and provide vital economic insights to foster growth. This permanent full time position calls for a Bachelor’s degree holder in Administration, Economics, or a related field.

You will coordinate and implement strategic plans, giving your insight into local development policies. Communication will be key as you work closely with stakeholders and represent the department at various functions. Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate economic projects and community services
- Develop and evaluate strategic objectives regularly
- Facilitate local development opportunities and funding
- Support organizations with business development
- Prepare reports and manage communication plans

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 3-5 years in economic development or project management
- Fluent in Cree and English; French is an asset
