Be a key player at Milton Hydro as a Journeyperson Powerline Technician, focusing on the construction and maintenance of electric distribution systems. This role brings exciting challenges in both proactive and emergency tasks. In this full time position, you will work under the Supervisor of Operations, engaging in high-voltage operations up to 27.6 kV.

Your role will include troubleshooting, ensuring compliance with OHSA standards, and participating in community safety initiatives. Foster the growth of apprentices as you guide them in technical skills and safety best practices. Key Responsibilities:

- Construct and uphold the electrical distribution framework
- Manage live line operations on power lines
- Install conductors and other essential apparatus
- Ensure safe power restoration during outages
- Assist in the mentoring of apprenticeship candidates

Requirements:

- MEARIE Group certification or equivalent in Powerline Technician
- Knowledgeable in electrical safety and utility codes
- Class DZ driver's license required
- Physically fit for outdoor work in any weather
- Excellent teamwork and communication capabilities
