Connect Services
Vaughan
We’re not looking for someone who just wants to change lights. We’re looking for someone who knows how to figure things out.
Connect Services is a growing electrical service and facility-care company supporting condos, multi-residential buildings, commercial properties, and businesses across the GTA.
We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Service Technician who enjoys variety, solving problems, dealing with customers, and getting the job done right the first time.
If you’re the type of electrician who can walk into a building, assess a problem, troubleshoot it, explain it to the client, and figure out the best solution — we want to talk to you.
What You'll Be Doing
No two days are exactly the same. Your work may include:
- Responding to electrical service calls and troubleshooting problems in the field
- Diagnosing electrical issues involving breakers, lighting, controls, sensors, motors, receptacles, panels, and other electrical equipment
- Performing electrical repairs, replacements, upgrades, and small installations
- Troubleshooting building electrical systems in condos and multi-residential properties
- Completing preventative maintenance and electrical inspections
- Working on commercial and, where applicable, industrial electrical systems
- Reading electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Installing lighting, occupancy sensors, photocells, receptacles, disconnects, controls, and other electrical equipment
- Identifying deficiencies and providing recommendations to clients and property managers
- Working with building staff, property managers, contractors, and other trades
- Completing service reports, documenting work performed, and identifying follow-up requirements
- Maintaining a clean, professional,
and safe work environment
- Working independently while having the support of our office and technical team when you need it
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Licensed Electrician (309A) or experienced electrical service technician
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and make good decisions in the field
- Comfortable communicating directly with customers and property managers
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
- Professional attitude and pride in your work
- Strong safety awareness
Experience that will make you stand out:
- Multi-residential / condominium experience — highly preferred
- Commercial service experience
- Industrial electrical experience
- Building maintenance experience
- Experience working with property managers, building operators, or facility teams
- Experience with generators, HVAC electrical systems, pumps, motors, controls, lighting controls, or building automation
- Experience with IR scanning, electrical maintenance, or preventative maintenance programs
The Kind of Person We're Looking For We care about more than what's on your resume.
You should be someone who:
- Can troubleshoot instead of immediately reaching for the phone
- Takes ownership of a service call from start to finish
- Knows how to speak to a customer without talking over their head
- Understands that showing up on time and leaving a clean work area matters
- Is comfortable working independently
- Takes pride in doing quality work
- Wants to keep learning and expanding their skill set
- Doesn't mind that Tuesday might be completely different from Wednesday
Why Connect Services? Because service work shouldn't feel like a dead-end job.
You'll get exposure to a wide range of electrical systems, buildings, customers, and projects across the GTA.
We're a growing company, and the right person can have a real impact here. You won't be just another number on a crew.
You'll have the opportunity to:
- Work on a wide variety of electrical service and maintenance projects
- Build relationships with property managers and commercial clients
- Develop your troubleshooting and technical skills
- Take on increasingly challenging work
- Work with a team that actually supports its field technicians
- Be part of a growing electrical service division with room to advance
The Bottom Line If you're an electrician who enjoys troubleshooting, variety, independence, and working with people, this could be a excellent fit.
If you need to be told what to do every five minutes, this probably isn't the job for you.
If you see a problem and your first thought is "let's figure this out" — we'd like to meet you.
Apply today and tell us a little about yourself, your experience, and the type of electrical work you enjoy most.
