Shape the future of organ technology as a Senior Electronics Design Engineer at OrganOx. This Oxford-based in office role combines technical ownership with mentoring opportunities. In this key position, you will oversee the design and development of electronic systems crucial for OrganOx medical devices.
Your focus will include both analogue and digital circuit design, ensuring safety and reliability in product outcomes. Collaborate with quality, regulatory, and engineering teams while guiding junior engineers through hands-on project work. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design from concept to manufacturing handover
- Design analogue and digital circuits with safety compliance
- Produce schematics and PCB layouts, preferably using Altium
- Support component selection and design risk assessments
- Manage verification activities, including testing and documentation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering
- 7–10 years of relevant electronics design experience
- Proficient in schematic capture and PCB layout
- Understanding of EMC/EMI mitigation techniques
- Strong communication skills and ability to mentor
