Join Elk Valley Resources as a Maintenance Supervisor and enhance our mining operations in the beautiful Elk Valley. This role consists of managing maintenance activities while fostering continuous improvement and team effectiveness. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will report to the Superintendent and manage tasks in both pit and shop environments.
Your robust organizational and communication skills will coordinate repairs, improving equipment reliability and safety compliance. This position includes a rotating 4x4 schedule and demands a proactive approach to problem-solving. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety programs
- Troubleshoot and manage equipment failures
- Supervise and evaluate maintenance workforce
- Develop and maintain work schedules efficiently
- Assist in maintenance supply requisition within budget Requirements:
- Technical diploma or related degree or equivalent
- Five years of mining maintenance experience required
- Experience leading a maintenance team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
