SUMMARY
RIDE is currently driving an exciting transformation in the transportation industry, and we are recruiting a passionate and experienced regional sales manager to help us pave the road through the development and execution of truck sales targets. You will be a member of RIDE Canada team and play a key role in creating RIDE EV truck history in Canada market.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Expand existing accounts, develop new business opportunities, and build a strong account portfolio across Canada (territories may be adjusted based on market conditions and organizational needs)

Grow business with port customers, fleet management companies (FMCs), large enterprises, and customers specializing in distribution centers, terminals, and refuse truck operations

Develop, direct, and execute regional sales plans and strategies to improve profitability and service levels throughout the assigned territory

Deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients, with or without company demonstration trucks

Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales targets and performance goals

Lead contract negotiations with prospective and existing customers

Support the development of pricing strategies, including quotes, promotions, and negotiations

Prepare and submit accurate weekly and monthly sales reports

Analyze sales data and market trends to assess sales potential, customer preferences, and inventory requirements

Manage and participate in regional meetings, industry associations, and customer events

Maintain strong knowledge of the EV truck market, including OEMs, incentives, and industry trends





Attend meetings with vendors and suppliers to support sales and market initiatives

Represent the company at trade association meetings, conferences, and expos to promote products and services

COMPETENCIES

Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication

Proficient in Microsoft Windows-based applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

Working knowledge of customer service principles and practices, including customer needs assessment, service quality standards, and evaluation of customer satisfaction

Robust problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply logical reasoning to assess alternatives and determine appropriate solutions

Proven ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a team-based work environment

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum of five years of experience in Business-to-Business (B2B) sales

Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, results-driven environment

Prior experience in Class 4 ~ Class 8 truck sales or electric vehicle (EV) truck sales preferred

Strong knowledge of sales principles and methodologies, including product presentation, promotion, demonstrations, sales techniques, and sales management systems

Proven ability to communicate effectively with customers both verbally and in writing, adapting messaging to meet audience needs

Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and remain resourceful with minimal supervision

Experience negotiating contracts and influencing stakeholders to achieve positive business outcomes

Proven experience analyzing data, tracking performance metrics, and generating reports





Willingness and ability to travel within the United States to meet with customers and attend trade shows

Spanish language proficiency is a plus

WORK LOCATION

Location: Vancouver, Canada or Toronto, Canada

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.

This position operates primarily in a qualified office environment and routinely utilizes standard office equipment, including computers, telephones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stepstool as necessary.

PAY RANGE

$90,000 - $140,000 with commission
