The Shaw Festival is looking for passionate individuals for multiple Design Assistant roles. This includes Set and Costume Design Assistants who will collaborate with experienced designers and partake in mentorship opportunities. Assistants will directly support productions by engaging in design team meetings and performing various research and documentation tasks throughout the season.

Key Responsibilities:
• Research visual references for set and costume designs
• Update drafting and drawings during production
• Build set models and compile production documentation




• Attend design and production meetings
• Assist in shopping trips for fabric and garments

Requirements:
• Self-motivated with robust problem-solving skills
• Experience in design or production at a professional level
• Basic model making and sketching skills
• Ontario Class G driver's license required
• Willingness to learn and collaborate with teams
