As a Healthcare Social Worker, you will report to the Program Manager in the Medical-Surgical and Cancer Care department. With a Master's in Social Work, bring your two years of clinical experience and strong counseling skills to a diverse range of interventions. You'll conduct assessments, manage cases, and participate in program planning within a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct psychosocial assessments for client support • Provide crisis counseling and adjustment therapy • Manage discharge planning and case management • Supervise undergraduate and graduate students in placement • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for effective care
Requirements: • Master's Degree in Social Work from a recognized university • Registered or eligible with NSCSW • Minimum two years of clinical experience • Solid counseling and communication skills • Knowledge of family violence, grief, and crisis intervention
