This position will require you to apply your knowledge in hydrologic modeling, flood frequency analysis, and mine water management, helping you cultivate the rigorous skillset necessary in the industry. The role is vital in addressing high-consequence water management issues. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze hydrometric and climate data for modeling
- Build and run hydraulic models under supervision
- Conduct dam safety inspections and reviews
- Manage water balance and diversions at mine sites
- Carry out fieldwork tasks such as surveys
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant engineering
- EIT registration with EGBC or eligibility
- Solid grounding in hydraulics and fluid mechanics
- Knowledge of modeling software and GIS
- Willingness to travel for fieldwork
