Assignment: Speech and Language Pathologist 0.60 FTE TEMPORARY Commencing as soon as possible. Assist teachers in planning for developmentally responsive learning experiences which reflect the unique needs of learners; Work in consultation with Case Managers in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans for students who require additional support; A Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology;
Experience and training in working with a variety of student learning needs;
Experience in remediation of language deficits and disabilities; Training and experience with implementing augmentative communication programs, including computer technology;
Experience in the diagnosis and remediation of speech and language impairments in school-aged children;
Experience in the use of assessment tools for the purpose of planning effective instruction and intervention.
