Start your career in labour relations with HSAA as a Labour Relations Officer I. This full time, temporary opportunity in Edmonton or Calgary focuses on supporting union members and managing early workplace issues collaboratively. We are looking for three motivated individuals to fill the Labour Relations Officer I positions at the Health Sciences Association of Alberta.

This role allows you to interact with members daily, providing critical support during disputes and inquiries while working closely with experienced colleagues. Your goal will be to build strong labour relations knowledge and skills as you assist our members through various processes. Key Responsibilities:

- Handle member inquiries about collective agreement interpretation




- Support members in early-stage workplace disputes
- Conduct factual investigations and documentation
- Prepare grievance files for resolution processes
- Collaborate with local executives and stewards

Requirements:

- Completion of a degree or diploma in a relevant field
- Experience in unionized or healthcare settings preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Solid Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
- Valid driver's license is necessary for member travel
