We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Experienced Auto Body Prepper to join our dynamic automotive repair team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles for painting and finishing, ensuring all surfaces are smooth, clean, and ready for the next stage of repair. Responsibilities

- Use hand tools and power tools to sand, grind, and smooth vehicle surfaces, ensuring they meet quality standards.
- Perform heavy lifting of vehicle parts and components safely to facilitate repairs and prepping tasks.
- Clean and mask areas of vehicles to protect surfaces during painting or finishing processes.
- Follow shop procedures to ensure consistent quality and safety standards are maintained throughout the prep process.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicle surfaces, identifying imperfections or areas needing additional attention before painting.




- Maintain a clean and organized work setting, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored after use.

Qualifications

- Prior dealership or automotive repair shop experience is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as sanders, grinders, scrapers, and masking tools.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety protocols.
- Experience working with power tools commonly used in auto body prep work.
- Knowledge of automotive painting prep processes is a plus but not required.
- Experience or familiarity with vehicle components will be considered an asset.
