As part of Fraser Health's Public Health Services team, the Public Health Nurse collaborates across disciplines to provide comprehensive assessments and support for individuals and families.
Use your skills in epidemiology, harm reduction, and client education to advocate for health in community settings and influence positive behavior change through organized programs. Key Responsibilities:
Administer immunizations for vaccine-preventable diseases
Investigate communicable diseases and support outbreak management
Provide prenatal and postnatal assessments and counseling
Deliver educational programs in schools and communities
Maintain documentation of interventions and outcomes Requirements:
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with BCCNM
Graduation from an accredited nursing school with public health focus
Six months of relevant public health nursing experience
Valid Class V B.C. Driver's license
