We are seeking a passionate and experienced Mixer/Baker to join our vibrant bakery team! Duties

- Measure, scale, and mix artisan doughs according to exact recipe formulas and daily production schedules.
- Monitor fermentation, dough temperatures, and hydration to ensure consistent artisan quality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in compliance with food safety standards.
- Collaborate closely with a small, focused morning team to meet daily wholesale and retail goals.
- Prepare and mix ingredients for pastries, artisan bread, and other baked goods according to established recipes and standards
- Operate commercial bakery equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, ovens, and food handling tools
- Ensure all baked items meet quality standards for appearance, taste,



and freshness before packaging or serving
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as measuring ingredients, assembling products, and portioning baked goods

Requirements

- Proven experience as a baker or mixer in a bakery setting with demonstrated skills
- Professional bread-making or commercial baking experience.
- Ability to comfortably lift and carry up to 50 lbs (bags of flour, mixing bowls, bulk dough).
- Valid Food Handler / Food Safety Certificate.
- Proficient English reading and writing skills (for scaling formulas and batch logging).
- Legal authorization to work in Canada (Work Permit, PR, or Citizenship with a valid SIN).
