Extendicare Country Side is seeking a part time Dietary Aide in Sudbury, Ontario, focused on meal preparation, serving, and maintaining kitchen standards within a care home. In this role, you will support the Dietary Manager by serving meals and assisting in food preparation at our long-term care home.

Your responsibilities will include ensuring cleanliness in cooking, storage, and serving areas while adhering to established policies and safety protocols.

Assisting

Cooks and participating in in-service programs will form part of your duties. Key Responsibilities:

- Serve meals according to individual dietary needs
- Prepare and clean basic food items with Cooks
- Operate kitchen dishwashers and clean various utensils
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of food
- Stock kitchenettes and assemble nourishment carts Requirements:
- Must have or be enrolled in Food Handlers Program
- Preferably 0-1 year dietary experience
- Must be able to stand long hours
- Basic comprehension of English verbal and written
- Capable of moderate to heavy lifting Play a significant role in providing quality dietary support at Extendicare Country Side.
