- Direct HR activities for an airport or cluster of locations with fewer than 600 team members- Manage the full team member lifecycle, including attraction, selection, onboarding, engagement, development, retention, and offboarding- Advise Operations leaders and management on company policies, engagement, retention, training, and performance management- Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation to team members at all levels- Analyze business trends and use strategic planning tools and processes- Recommend and implement strategies and tactical solutions to improve the business- Address team member relations issues proactively and advise management on risk reduction and compliance- Conduct confidential employee investigations and prepare detailed documentation- Establish and maintain positive labor relations and help Operations managers understand the CBA- Participate in arbitrations, grievances, and contract negotiations- Lead change initiatives and promote continuous engagement, learning, and development- Ensure HR practices comply with company policy and legal requirements- Partner with corporate People & Culture and Legal to resolve matters- Maintain current knowledge of HR, regulatory, statutory, food and beverage, and retail operations trends- Report to the Regional Director of People & Culture OperationsRequirementsThe combination of educational and professional experience must exceed 5 yearsLeadership role: 2-4 years of experience leading a team of professionals, executing Human Resources strategy, and maintaining team member relationshipsTechnical role: 5-7 years of Human Resources experienceA bachelor’s degree in a program related to the functional area can count for three of the five-year requirementAn MBA or a master’s level degree in a program related to the functional area can count for an additional two years of the five-year requirement3-5 years of Hospitality, Food, Beverage, and/or Retail experience preferredSHRM-SCP or HRCI-SPHR certification preferredAdvanced knowledge of recruiting, employee relations, labor relations,



training and development, benefits, and compensationIn-depth understanding of HR policies and practicesIn-depth knowledge of relevant state and federal employment regulations and statutesExcellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skillsHigh level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretionAbility to read and comprehend correspondence, policies, and legal documents and translate them conciselyAbility to build cooperative partnerships and work cross-functionallyProficient in Microsoft Office, including documents, spreadsheets, and presentationsProficiency with HRIS and business software/systems; ability to quickly learn new systemsFlexibility and adaptability to manage multiple projects and local and/or remote direct reportsDemonstrated history of creating and maintaining positive work environments through coaching, developing, and leading teamsBusiness acumen and mindsetRequires on-site attendance five days per weekMay require up to 50% travelCore CompetenciesDemonstrates advanced knowledge of Human Resources practices, including recruiting, employee relations, and labor relations, while ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
