The University of Calgary is seeking a full-time Finance & Business Analyst to enhance its Undergraduate Medical Education team's financial operations. If you have strong analytical and financial management skills, this role is an excellent fit. In this position, you will report to the Senior Manager and collaborate closely with financial services and departmental leaders.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing the operational budget, improving business processes, and providing financial insights to senior management. The role demands independence and sound judgment in a complex setting. Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement the UME operational budget
- Evaluate business processes and develop solutions




- Lead reviews of business processes for optimization
- Gather critical information and produce reports
- Communicate financial insights to stakeholders

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance
- Minimum 5 years of management experience
- Experience with budgets over $10M
- Strong financial analytical and communication skills
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
