Step into the vital role of Research Assistant at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, supporting Dr. Tony Eskander's head and neck oncology research team. Your contributions will primarily involve data abstraction and management.
In this position, you’ll be responsible for extracting and inputting data from electronic patient records into the REDCap database. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree, at least one year of relevant experience, and an understanding of medical terminology. You will also ensure the accuracy of reported data.
Key Responsibilities:
• Abstract data from SunnyCare (EPR) for oncology research
• Input and manage data in REDCap accurately
• Review data for completeness and correctness
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences or similar
• At least 1 year of relevant experience
• Proficient in medical terminology
• Familiarity with Electronic Data Capture systems
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
