In this on-site role, you will direct trade activities at 50 Pemberton Avenue, North Vancouver. As the supervisor, you’ll engage with management and oversee a team to meet both safety and quality standards. This position necessitates your expertise in electrical trade, along with supervisory experience, making it a pivotal role in a up-to-date shipyard workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee trade activities ensuring efficiency and compliance
• Implement safety and quality processes on the shop floor
• Assign tasks to skilled trade employees effectively
• Manage performance, attendance, and disciplinary actions
• Collaborate with management for goal setting and accountability
Requirements:
• Red Seal Electrician preferred; multi-ticketed an asset
• Minimum 5 years trades experience
• 3+ years supervisory experience in heavy industry
• Solid communication and organizational skills
• Preferred experience with behavioral safety practices
