About the Role

As a member of our Food & Beverage team, you will help create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere throughout our clubhouse, patio, tournaments, special events, and daily operations. You will be responsible for serving food and beverages, assisting guests, and maintaining the high standards of hospitality that Pine Knot is known for.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Lightspeed POS system
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation and service standards
- Process debit and credit card transactions through our cashless payment system
- Promote menu features, specials, and beverage offerings
- Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations are followed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, patios, service stations, and beverage service areas




- Assist with golf tournaments, banquets, weddings, and special events as required
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team members
- Respond professionally to guest requests and resolve concerns promptly
- Help with opening, closing, and daily operational duties

Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, hospitality, bar, or food service experience is an asset
- Experience using Lightspeed POS is considered a strong asset
- Valid Smart Serve Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service focus and a positive attitude
- Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy periods
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, holidays, and tournament events
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is preferred
