We are seeking a Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently picking customer orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in a warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Utilize warehouse management system to prioritize and pick orders accurately
- Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, or other equipment to move materials and fulfill orders
- Perform order picking following specific instructions and procedures
- Conduct basic math calculations to verify quantities and match orders
- Lift and move heavy items while maintaining safety protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Experience
- Prior experience in warehouse distribution preferred
- Mechanical knowledge for operating warehouse equipment
- Proficiency in order picking techniques
- Ability to operate forklifts and clamp trucks safely
- Familiarity with basic math for order verification
- Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus
Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to $19.25 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
