Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly as they approach the checkout area, establishing a positive rapport.
- Process sales transactions efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and digital payments.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, provide product demos when applicable, and suggest upselling opportunities to enhance their shopping experience.
- Maintain organized merchandising at the checkout counter and ensure displays are tidy and inviting.
- Handle customer questions regarding store policies, returns, or exchanges with clear communication and professionalism.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimize wait times while maintaining accuracy in transactions.




- Support inventory management by assisting with stock organization and reporting discrepancies when needed.

Requirements

- Proven experience in retail sales or cashiering roles, with a strong focus on customer service excellence.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, balancing registers, and processing transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail merchandising standards.
- Ability to perform basic product demonstrations and upselling techniques confidently.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated time management skills to ensure smooth checkout flow during peak hours.
