Responsibilities

- Assist in the selection, handling, and display of fresh fruits and vegetables to maintain high quality standards
- Use hand tools and power tools for routine maintenance of display areas, shelving, and storage facilities
- Operate farm machinery and heavy equipment safely for tasks such as loading, unloading, or moving produce
- Conduct regular irrigation checks to ensure produce remains hydrated and fresh
- Perform basic math calculations for inventory counts, pricing adjustments, and stock rotation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the produce section, including sanitation of work areas




- Support with heavy lifting of crates or bulk produce to ensure efficient stock replenishment
- Cut and prepare salads

Requirements

- Mechanical knowledge or experience with farm machinery and power tools is highly desirable
- Basic understanding of horticulture principles related to fruit and vegetable cultivation and storage
- Ability to operate irrigation systems and perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Comfortable working with hand tools and heavy equipment in outdoor or warehouse settings
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and extended periods of standing or walking
- Basic math skills for inventory management and price adjustments
- Prior experience with farm machinery or heavy equipment operation is a plus but not essential
