Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Day Shift Concierge to join a luxury condominium community in Thornhill. This vibrant role involves providing exceptional resident service, maintaining property safety, and ensuring a secure and welcoming workplace. The ideal candidate will be proactive, attentive, and skilled in surveillance and loss prevention techniques to uphold the high standards of our client’s community.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents, visitors, and service providers with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring smooth access control.
- Monitor CCTV surveillance systems to oversee property activity, identify suspicious behavior, and prevent theft or vandalism.
- Conduct regular patrols of common areas, entrances, and exterior grounds to maintain safety and security.
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
- Enforce building policies related to access, safety protocols, and loss prevention measures.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and surveillance footage for record-keeping purposes.
- Assist residents with inquiries or requests to enhance their living experience while fostering a positive community atmosphere.
Requirements
- Previous experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) operation and monitoring techniques.
- Familiarity with loss prevention strategies to safeguard residents’ property.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly yet professional demeanor.
- Ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts while managing multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Valid certifications in security or related areas are an asset; willingness to obtain necessary licenses if required.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations discreetly with integrity and confidence.
