Sunday to Thursday - Days, afternoon and overnights Rate of pay- $24.89/ Hourly Reason for posting- This posting is for an existing vacancy To learn more about Good Shepherd, visit our website at opportunity is with our Good Shepherd – West AveHow You Will Make an ImpactThe successful candidate will extend our mission to residential and non-residential clients through the provision of respectful and appropriate housing support services. This may include case management, crisis intervention and supportive counseling. This position is within a residential program and will include duties such as cleaning, packing of belongings and lifting.
Develop and maintain a caseloadComplete an intake and assessment on each residentDesign, implement, in consultation with supervisor, an interview schedule that will provide an evaluation of "quality of life" improvement of successful program participantsMaintain confidentiality with regards to clients/staff and Centre's recordsResponsible for participating in Good Shepherd's Health and Safety programs, procedures, procedures and work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and its regulations to minimize risk to clients, staff and others as well as to the property of the Good Shepherd. Applicants should possess a thorough knowledge of issues impacting cis women, trans and non-binary individuals including violence, abuse, mental illness, homelessness,
poverty and substance useExperience working in a residential setting is preferredDemonstrated experience with Intake and AssessmentA demonstrated commitment to the mission values of availability, flexibility, adaptability, hospitality and dignity is essentialA post-secondary education in a related field is requiredC.R.
