CMHA Kelowna & District is hiring a casual Youth Mental Health and Substance Use Clinician for Foundry Kelowna. This position focuses on counseling and support for young individuals in need.
As a part of a energetic team, you will engage in solution-focused therapy while providing comprehensive assessments and treatment planning. This role requires a Master's degree and at least two years of relevant experience, with responsibilities spanning individual and group therapy, system navigation, and advocacy.
Key Responsibilities: • Utilize single-session approaches for solution-focused therapy • Carry a manageable caseload for short-term interventions • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and community partners • Facilitate workshops and psychosocial support • Provide direct services to youth and their families
Requirements: • Master’s in Social Work or equivalent • Criminal Record Check clearance • Minimum 2 years of experience in counseling • Strong rapport-building with youth and families • Familiarity with evidence-based mental health practices
