The City of Red Deer is seeking a Journeyperson Powerline Technician for a one-year term to perform skilled work on overhead and underground electrical distribution and transmission lines.
Experience with high voltage systems and a Red Seal certificate is preferred; a 4th year apprentice may be considered.
Responsibilities include setting poles, wiring, cable installations, transformers, and meters, plus responding to after-hours calls.
