Your role will bridge security and development while enhancing overall security practices. At RBC in Toronto, you will support application teams by leveraging your development experience in application security. You will work closely with various teams to drive security best practices and implement effective application security initiatives.
This position allows you to apply your coding skills while deepening your understanding of open-source vulnerabilities and security frameworks. Key Responsibilities:
Manage application security testing tools and support end users
Prioritize SCA scan results and communicate to application teams
Act as liaison between security and development teams
Educate stakeholders on application security practices
Integrate security processes into development pipelines Requirements:
2+ years in REST APIs and applications development
Familiarity with application security best practices
Solid coding skills in Python, Java, JavaScript, or .NET
Basic understanding of open-source security
