Join our dynamic team as a Gas Station Cashier, where you will be the friendly face and efficient operator at our convenience store and fuel station. Duties

- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service with a positive attitude.
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for cash, credit, and mobile transactions.
- Handle cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including giving change and balancing cash drawers.
- Conduct product demos and upselling to promote store merchandise and fuel services.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area, shelves, and surrounding environment.
- Assist customers with inquiries about products, services, or store policies in multiple languages if applicable.
- Use technology sales techniques to recommend products or services that meet customer needs.
- Manage phone etiquette when taking orders or answering questions professionally.




- Support merchandising efforts by restocking shelves and ensuring displays are attractive and organized.
- Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with all store policies and regulations.

Qualifications

- Previous cashiering or retail sales experience preferred; strong customer service skills are essential.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and retail merchandising is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills to interact clearly with customers and team members.
- Strong organizational skills for managing time efficiently during busy periods.
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism with phone etiquette and customer interactions.
- Experience in upselling or technical sales is a plus for promoting products effectively.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced workplace.
