This position is critical for conducting seismic assessments and addressing challenges within municipal and transportation infrastructure.
You will lead site investigations, design structures, and ensure project compliance while developing the next generation of engineers. Engage hands-on in significant projects involving dams and tailings facilities, requiring a robust understanding of local guidelines. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead projects from inception to construction support
- Create designs for retaining systems and earthworks
- Assess seismic risks and design parameters
- Guide geotechnical performance on dam safety reviews
- Manage budgets and mentor junior engineering staff
Requirements:
- P.Eng. status or immediacy for Ontario registration
- Civil or Geological Engineering degree with specialization
- Minimum 8 years in geotechnical consulting
- Experienced in dam safety and seismic analysis
- Familiarity with relevant geotechnical software tools
