Join York Region as an HVAC Systems Technologist, providing technical support and quality control in HVAC projects. As a vital member of the Maintenance & Operations team, you will ensure HVAC systems are maintained and upgraded to high standards.

Your oversight of project implementation, contract administration, and energy management will significantly influence operational efficiency. You will coordinate with consultants and contractors for seamless project execution in the Region's diverse facilities. Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC and mechanical assets
Supervise HVAC contractors and project implementation




Lead project evaluations and provide recommendations
Document HVAC system repairs and prepare specifications
Collaborate with teams on capital contracts and design reviews Requirements:
Community College Diploma in relevant field or equivalent
Valid TSSA Gas 2 Technician and 313A Refrigerant certificates
Minimum three years in HVAC maintenance and repairs
Knowledge of regulations and standards in HVAC
