- Develop and maintain graphical standards for the EBO environment.
- Define reusable graphics templates, equipment templates, page layouts, navigation structures, symbols, objects, and graphical conventions.
- Establish consistent approaches for representing equipment, systems, alarms, status, commands, trends, setpoints, and other operator information.
- Review existing EMRS graphics and assess their suitability for migration, reuse, redesign, or replacement.
- Define the target graphical approach for migrated EBO systems.
- Support the conversion and migration of existing BAS graphics into standardized EBO graphics.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, or improve existing graphics while preserving required system functionality and operational information.
- Develop reusable templates for common equipment and system types.
- Maintain consistency across buildings, systems, Edge Servers, and migration phases.
- Review graphics created by other engineers, integrators, or specialists for compliance with approved project standards.
- Provide technical review of complex, unusual, or project-specific graphical requirements.
- Resolve graphical configuration issues affecting display, navigation, data binding, commands, alarms, trends, or operator interaction.
- Configure and validate graphics bindings to BAS points, objects, alarms, trends, commands, schedules, and other system data.
- Confirm graphics accurately reflect system status and field operation.
- Validate graphical data following migration or system changes.
- Work with BAS Specialists and Systems Integrators to resolve incorrect point mapping, naming, object references, or data relationships.
- Support development of consistent navigation between buildings, systems, equipment, and system hierarchy.
- Ensure graphics follow approved naming, labeling, terminology, and engineering conventions.
- Support configuration of user-facing dashboards, equipment views, floor plans, system diagrams, and operational displays where required.
- Review graphical presentation of alarms, trends, overrides, faults,
equipment status, and other critical operating information.
- Support development of graphics appropriate for different users, operational needs, or system responsibilities where required.
- Ensure reusable graphics and templates are structured to support efficient implementation and future maintenance.
- Participate in migration planning to identify graphical dependencies and requirements before system cutover.
- Perform pre- and post-migration graphical validation.
- Support commissioning and functional verification of operator graphics.
- Identify graphical deficiencies and coordinate corrective actions through resolution.
- Work closely with the Solution Architect / Lead EBO Engineer, Senior Systems Integrators, BAS Specialists, Controls Specialists, commissioning personnel, and project teams.
- Maintain graphics standards, template documentation, configuration records, issue logs, and related technical documentation.
- Support development of as-built graphical documentation and final system records.
- Provide guidance to other team members responsible for graphics development or migration.
- Follow applicable project, technical, engineering, quality, and safety standards.
