This role requires you to lead the D-Camps initiative, enhancing the experience for children and families living with diabetes. You will oversee program planning, operations, and team development, all while promoting a positive setting aligned with national guidelines. Your proactive approach will help foster positive relationships with participants and their families, as well as with third-party service providers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate all D-Camps programming and events
• Supervise summer camp staff and volunteers
• Manage relationships with service providers
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Drive communication with camper families and stakeholders
Requirements:
• Relevant degree or diploma
• 3-5+ years camp management experience
• Proven leadership capabilities
• Familiarity with Type 1 Diabetes programs
• Standard First Aid certification
