Become a Health Care Aide at The Salvation Army, focusing on vital resident support and care services. As a Health Care Aide, you will assist residents with their daily personal care needs related to hygiene and mobility under the guidance of the Director of Care.

Your role will be fundamental in reporting any changes in condition and ensuring safety through effective communication with the healthcare team. You will provide both physical assistance and emotional support, promoting a comfortable living environment. Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver personal care including grooming and bathing
- Report significant changes in residents’ conditions




- Aid in residents' mobility using secure practices
- Facilitate meals and monitor residents' nutritional intake
- Keep living spaces sanitized and well-stocked

Requirements:

- Completion of Grade 10 and a recognized Nursing Assistance program
- Registered with BC Care Aide Registry in good standing
- Clear Criminal Record check necessity
- Must have First Aid and Food Safe certificates
- Compliance with High Risk violence prevention training
