Support clients as a Health Care Aide in Carewest's Rehabilitation and Community Transition Program. Engage in vital client care activities while ensuring compliance with policy and ethical standards. You will work under the direction of the Director of Care, responsible for observing and reporting client health status changes. This role requires accuracy in administering medication and maintaining skilled relationships with clients and healthcare staff.
Your role as an HCA is crucial for client recovery and transition back to the community. Key Responsibilities:
- Observe and report on client health status changes
- Deliver medications following established policies
- Adhere to professional and ethical care standards
- Assist clients with lifting and positioning needs
- Engage in additional related duties as required Requirements:
- Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a recognized Health Care Aide program
- Active registration with CLHA required
- Effective English communication skills
