Scholars of Calgary Southeast is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Part-time High School Math/Science Teacher/Tutor to join our dynamic team. Dimensions:

· Provide tutoring and educational support to students.

· implement lesson plans in line with the Scholars curriculum.

· Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students.

· Utilize different teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.

· Conduct assessments and provide constructive feedback to students.

· Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning and development.

Skills & Requirements:

- Alberta teaching certification is an asset.
- Candidates working towards their teaching certification or university designation in math or sciences are welcome to apply.




- Previous experience working with students in a tutoring workplace is an asset.
- Excellent English oral and written skills.
- French speaking is an asset.
- Have a passion to help students reach their potential.
- Exceptionally organized and meticulous for attention to detail.
- Ability to teach in a 2:1 ratio.
- Must be able to teach math or a science (biology, chemistry, or physics) up to grade 12, including all subject areas included in the Alberta curriculum.
- Must complete proficiency tests.

Candidates must be able to work a minimum of two shifts per week.
- Monday - Friday 4 - 8 pm
