You'll play a crucial role in producing accurate cost estimates through all project stages. We are looking for a skilled estimator with at least five years of experience in residential construction, particularly within Alberta.
Your responsibilities will include creating detailed budgets, preparing material takeoffs, and estimating labor costs. You'll also coordinate change orders and ensure all project documentation is accurate and complete. Key Responsibilities:
Estimate and procure full cost budgets for custom homes
Prepare quantity and material takeoffs accurately
Review change orders and selection packages thoroughly
Create and track change orders among stakeholders
Assess and mitigate risks in project scopes Requirements:
Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field
Five years of estimating experience in Alberta
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to read building specifications and blueprints
