We're looking for a Hydrovac Truck Operator at Berto Contractors, skilled in hydro excavation and committed to safety in wide-ranging BC job sites. Use your expertise to make an impact!
In this position, you will play a crucial part in the hydro excavation process as you dig trenches and secure utilities. Your job will also involve daily inspections of equipment, and you’ll maintain a strict safety protocol while coordinating with your team. A mix of technical and operational skills will ensure effective project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate excavation tools and machinery safely
• Perform equipment inspections and minor repairs
• Dig trenches and identify utility services
• Follow safety procedures to protect yourself and the public
• Maintain transparent communications with team members
Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience operating Hydrovac trucks
• Class 1 or 3 driver’s license needed
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Basic understanding of construction principles required
• Exposure to outdoor working conditions expected
