We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems, with the ability to fabricate and maintain equipment effectively. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Solid leadership skills are essential, as you may be responsible for supervising other maintenance staff.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and machinery.
- Fabricate parts and components as needed to ensure operational efficiency.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Able to keep tracks of maintenance activities and inventory.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including logic controllers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Supervise junior maintenance staff, providing guidance and training as necessary.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules without disrupting operations.
- Walk around the property to make sure the property is upkept, and pool including surrounding areas are safe and clean.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in electrical systems preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication within the team.
- Previous experience in a maintenance role is highly desirable.
