Housekeeping Room Attendant:

Summary of Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager and/or General Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to:

- Consistently provide professional, friendly, and engaging service to guests and team members.

- Follow all departmental policies, procedures, and service standards.

- Clean and service 10 to 15 guest rooms per shift in accordance with hotel brand standards.

- Maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and condition of assigned guest rooms and surrounding areas, including hallways and service areas.

- Restock guest room supplies, amenities, and linens as needed.

- Clean, organize, and stock assigned linen closets and housekeeping carts at the end of each shift.

- Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and damaged items in guest rooms or public areas promptly.

- Ensure all lost and found procedures are followed according to hotel policy.

- Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and security procedures.

- Assist with deep-cleaning projects and special cleaning assignments as directed.

- Support fellow team members and other departments when necessary to ensure overall hotel success.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality, janitorial services, environmental services, or a related cleaning position preferred.

- Previous hotel experience is considered an asset.

- Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity, quality,



and cleanliness standards.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction.

- Reliable transportation to and from work.

- Excellent attendance, punctuality, and dependability.

- Open availability, including weekdays, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts based on business needs.

- Flexibility to work additional hours as occupancy and operational demands require.

- Ability to follow instructions, hotel procedures, and safety standards.

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and maintain positive working relationships with guests and coworkers.

- Ability to meet established productivity goals while maintaining Holiday Inn Express cleanliness standards.

- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times.

Pay: $17.60 per hour
