10:00am - 6:00pm | 12-month contract Contributes to the overall success of the HR Services Operations team in Canada by ensuring specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed and delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities are conducted in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures. Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
Process position, job, and employee data changes within HR systems throughout employee lifecycle events. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of employee records and position management changes through established internal control mechanisms. Respond to inquiries related to position management and employee lifecycle events, including the resolution of escalated issues from various stakeholders.
Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. Actively pursue effective and efficient operations in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, Code of Conduct, and Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to, and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations related to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions, and conduct risk. Champion a high-performance setting and contribute to an inclusive workplace culture.
Identify opportunities to improve operational effectiveness and provide recommendations to Managers, Data Management. Post-secondary degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or currently pursuing education in a related discipline. Relevant experience resolving customer service requests.
Knowledge of employee data administration and end-to-end HR processes. Deep understanding of Bank policies and procedures. Strong knowledge of organizational structures and business complexity. Proven teamwork capabilities with solid relationship management and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and deadlines, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Experience with transaction processing and data management. Strong computer application skills, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Experience with Adobe Acrobat is considered an asset.
