About the role
We are seeking an experienced IFS Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of complex IFS solutions. You will work closely with clients, project teams, and the leadership team to translate business requirements into practical, scalable solutions that deliver measurable value.
You will also serve as a trusted advisor, mentor consultants, support sales opportunities, and contribute to the continued development of our IFS capabilities and service offerings.
What you’ll Do
- Lead the design and delivery of IFS solutions, with a focus on Enterprise Resource Planning, Asset Management, Field Service Management and related capabilities.
- Translate business objectives and requirements into scalable functional solution designs and implementation roadmaps.
- Facilitate discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and future-state process design.
- Apply leading practices across service, logistics, inventory, contracts, finance, planning, scheduling, and optimization.
- Oversee solution configuration, testing, training, deployment, and adoption activities.
- Ensure solutions are integrated, maintainable, secure,
and aligned with client goals.
- Partner with project managers to identify risks, dependencies, scope considerations, and mitigation strategies.
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders at all levels, from frontline users to senior executives.
- Support sales pursuits, demonstrations, proposals, estimates, and RFP responses as an IFS subject matter expert.
- Contribute to implementation methodologies, training materials, reusable tools, and market offerings.
- Coach and mentor consultants, supporting their technical and professional development.
Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience delivering Enterprise Resource Planning, Asset Management, Field Service Management or enterprise transformation programs.
- 3+ years of experience with IFS Applications, ideally in a Solution Architect, Lead Consultant, or Senior Functional Consulting role.
- Knowledge of IFS Enterprise Resource Planning, Asset Management, Field Service Management
- Experience designing solutions across multiple business processes or IFS modules.
- Experience leading discovery sessions, solution design workshops, testing, training, and deployment activities.
- Strong business analysis, problem-solving, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate complex business needs into clear functional and technical solutions.
- Strong executive communication and client advisory skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Ability to travel based on client needs, potentially up to 30%
Preferred Qualifications
- IFS certification in Enterprise Resource Planning, Asset Management, Field Service Management, or another relevant solution area.
- Experience in asset-intensive, field service, manufacturing, energy, utilities, aerospace and defense, construction, or engineering environments.
- Understanding of IFS integrations, data migration, reporting, security, and cloud considerations.
