Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, wash room and mobility support
- Administer blister-pack medications, supplements, eye drop regimens and health monitoring
- Prepare nutritious meals, assist with feeding when needed, and ensure proper daily hydration
- Perform daily household chores such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe, sanitary living environment
- Support with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when required, ensuring safety at all times
- Document care activities accurately and proactively communicate any changes in health or behavior
- Guide physical activity, including range-of-motion routines, sitting/physio exercises, daily walks, and massages
- Provide meaningful companionship, engaging with reading, Bible study, cognitive checks and other daytime activities
Experience
- Previous experience in senior home care or private caregiving is preferred
- Understanding of medication protocols, patient care, and safe transfer techniques
- Robust physical stamina to assist with mobility, transfers,
and physical exercise routines safely
- Experience managing structured daily care plans and personal hygiene routines.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact and accurately document daily observations.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia is advantageous
- Knowledge of senior care practices and caregiving responsibilities
- Proven reliability, punctuality, attention to detail, and a teachable and willing-to-learn and add-value attitude
- Certification or training in caregiving, nursing assistance or related fields is a plus

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
- Senior care: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- First Aid and CPR certification (preferred)
