Legacy Lawns is looking for a reliable independent snow removal contractor to work with us for the upcoming 2026/2027 winter season.

We are based out of Walden in SE Calgary, and all properties are located throughout Deep South West & Deep South Calgary. Ideally, we are looking for someone who lives in or near the south end of the city so the route is convenient and efficient.

We are looking for one dependable individual / owner-operator who wants a consistent group of properties to take care of throughout the winter.

You would be assigned your own group of Legacy Lawns residential properties and would be responsible for completing those sites whenever it snows.

What We're Looking For

- Independent contractor / owner-operator
- Ideally located in South or Deep South Calgary
- Very high attention to detail
- Reliable and available throughout the winter season
- Residential snow removal experience preferred
- Comfortable working independently
- Reliable truck or suitable vehicle
- Reliable, well-maintained snow removal equipment
- Smartphone for communication, routing and job updates
- Able to work early mornings and during/after snow events
- Someone who takes pride in their work and treats customers' properties with care

Reliability and attention to detail are extremely important to us. We are looking for someone who takes pride in doing the job properly, not simply rushing through a route.

The Work

Our snow removal season runs approximately November 1st through April 30th. When it snows, you will be provided with a dedicated route/group of properties to complete.





Our routes are intentionally kept tight throughout South and Deep South Calgary to minimize unnecessary driving and travel time between properties.

- Clearing driveways
- Clearing sidewalks and walkways
- Clearing front steps and entrances
- Light scraping and cleanup as required
- Making sure each property is left neat and safe when completed

This is ongoing seasonal work, not random on-call jobs. Our goal is to find someone we can work with consistently throughout the entire winter and hopefully for future seasons as well.

Compensation

Potential Earnings: $1,000 – $6,000 per month

Compensation is structured around a monthly route retainer, providing consistent monthly income throughout the winter season.

In addition to the monthly retainer, there will be opportunities to earn performance and goal-based bonuses for reliability, route completion, quality of work and consistently meeting service expectations.

The amount you earn will depend largely on how many properties you are capable of reliably handling.

Someone looking for a smaller route may earn closer to the lower end of the range, while an experienced contractor with the equipment, availability and capacity to manage a larger route can earn significantly more.

The more properties you can reliably handle while maintaining our quality standards, the greater your earning potential.

We believe dependable contractors with their own vehicle, equipment and experience should be compensated well.



Our routes are also designed to be tight and efficient, allowing you to spend more time completing properties and less time driving across the city.
