Mighty Mouse Daycare is growing!

With the expansion of our programs, we are looking for a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Infant/Toddler Early Childhood Educator (ITE) to join our Mighty Mouse team.

We are looking for an educator who genuinely enjoys working with infants and toddlers and understands the importance of responsive caregiving, strong relationships, consistency, and creating a safe environment where our youngest children can explore, learn, and grow.

About the Position

As an Infant/Toddler Educator, you will work as part of our team to provide high-quality care for children between 12 and 36 months of age.

Your responsibilities will include

- Creating a warm, nurturing, inclusive, and engaging environment
- Building positive and responsive relationships with children
- Planning and implementing developmentally appropriate, play-based experiences
- Supporting children's social and emotional development
- Supporting daily routines including meals, diapering/toileting, transitions, outdoor play, and rest
- Following safe sleep and active supervision practices
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Observing children's development and responding to their individual needs
- Communicating professionally and positively with families
- Working collaboratively with fellow educators, support workers, and management
- Following Mighty Mouse Daycare policies and procedures and BC Child Care Licensing Regulations
- Maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries
- Participating in cleaning and daily classroom responsibilities

Qualifications

Applicants must have

- Infant/Toddler Educator (ITE) Certification
- Valid First Aid certification appropriate for childcare




- Transparent Criminal Record Check
- Strong understanding of child development, particularly infant and toddler development
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Reliable and professional work habits
- Strong communication skills

Experience working in a licensed Infant/Toddler program is an asset.
