Join the Occupational Health and Safety Division as an Electrical Engineer in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Leverage your expertise to enhance workplace safety and compliance with established standards. You will independently manage critical engineering tasks while reviewing documents, providing expert advice, and conducting inspections across various sites. Your recommendations will support the development of regulations in line with the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Key Responsibilities:
Review and assess electrical safety documentation
Support inspections of surface and underground mines
Develop training and presentation materials
Provide authoritative guidance on technical regulations
Conduct in office inspections in compliance with relevant laws Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
At least 6 years of relevant work experience
Knowledge of the NS Occupational Health and Safety Act
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
