Join our team at Nova Scotia Power as an Electric Power System Maintenance Planner in Truro/Stellarton, Nova Scotia. This full time role centers on enhancing the maintenance strategy for critical electrical infrastructures.

Reporting to the NE System Maintenance Supervisor, you'll plan equipment maintenance for substations and generation assets. Key tasks will involve managing schedules, conducting inspections, and writing procedures. Your expertise will contribute to a safe and efficient workplace, with travel requirements across the province.

Key Responsibilities:



• Create and implement comprehensive maintenance work plans • Manage procurement of materials and resources • Conduct site inspections to ensure equipment quality • Write operational procedures and cost assessments • Provide ongoing technical support to work crews

Requirements: • Grade XII education with Electrical Engineering Diploma • At least five years in related equipment maintenance • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record • Familiarity with scheduling and maintenance software • Planning experience is an asset
