As part of a vibrant team, you will harness your reporting expertise to create content that resonates with the community. Your strong communication and research skills are essential for turning around impactful stories quickly. The role requires your presence full time, mainly on weekdays from 2 p.m. to 10:15 p.m.
Key Responsibilities:
• Quickly gather and write stories for audio and digital formats
• Deliver live coverage and contextual analysis
• Simplify and convey complex information under pressure
• Innovate and pitch engaging stories for diverse platforms
• Build robust relationships with various sources
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a multi-platform reporter
• Demonstrated ability to react to shifting news priorities
• Strong understanding of Alberta's political and cultural landscape
• Excellent writing across multiple platforms
• Valid driver’s license and minimum three years relevant experience
